Land Sports
Montecito Sequoia Lodge offers many activities. Here is a taste of what’s available. Rest assured, you’ll NEVER be bored at Montecito!

Archery
Montecito Sequoia is a member of the Camp Archery Association, and is entitled to award CAA diplomas and awards to Summer Family Camp campers who complete the resort’s archery program. “Sight method” is taught, and archers of all abilities enjoy our four staggered targets. Field archery and novelty shoots are also offered.

Riflery
Our instructors will teach adults and children (9 years old and up) to handle a firearm safely, correctly and accurately. Each week, there will be a couple of opportunities for children ages 7 and 8 to try riflery as well, accompanied by a parent or guardian at "Parent-Child Shoot."

Tennis
Take a lesson on Montecito-Sequoia's tennis courts. Our instructors can help players at all levels improve their game. Beginners will learn to love the sport, and experienced players will be challenged to rise to the next level.

Mountain Biking
Montecito Sequoia offers morning, afternoon or full-day guided mountains bike rides on trails in Sequoia National Forest. We have plenty of 20-gear professional mountain bikes for rent at $15-25 per session.

Fencing
En garde! Montecito Sequoia offers instruction in fencing techniques, positions and terminology. Let our experts teach you to parry and thrust! We have all the equipment you’ll need to have a safe and successful fencing experience.

Trampoline and Gymnastics
Montecito Sequoia has a large ground-level trampoline. Our counselors, who are certified by the United Gymnastic Federation, enjoy teaching trampoline and are well versed in teaching progressions, spotting, and safety. Gymnastics are available for Minnows and Tadpoles (see the Children's Program page).

Yoga Classes
Our yoga classes are popular with people of all ages. There’s nothing like an early morning workout with our certified yoga instructor to get you ready to face the day.
