Evening Activities are full of fun for everyone at Montecito Summer Family Camp. Every day ends with a special program designed for all members of the family, followed by a sing-a-long around a blazing campfire.

Carnival Night
Monday is Carnival Night. Enjoy popular casino games and fun-filled kids’ games. Get a fist full of “Montecito Money” and have a blast!

Free Choice Night/Night Hike
On Tuesday night, join us for a four-mile (round trip) hike to Baldy Ridge. Enjoy the spectacular 360° views from the top, watch the sunset paint the mountains in glory, and hike back down under the stars. If you’d rather not hike, stay in camp for a “free choice” evening program that includes your choice of: canoeing, campfire (with s’mores!), candle light shoot at riflery, horseback riding on the Sunset Trail Ride, painting with our Artist of the Week, and more.

Theme Parties
Wednesday is Theme Night. Check here to discover what your week's Theme Night will be. Pack a costume or select your ensemble from our Costume Room.  On Wednesday, everyone gets in character before dinner.  After dinner, it's time for parents, kids and staff to get out on the dance floor and boogie!

Coffee House
Staff and guests share their talents at a mellow Open Mic evening on Thursday. Do you sing? Dance? Play an instrument? Read a mean poem? Spin a good yarn? Come show us what you’ve got!

International Night
Our staff members come from all around the world. After Coffee House, they’ll show you photos, maps, crafts, and tasty treats from their home countries.

Variety Show
This is another evening “on stage,” featuring age group productions, family songs, stunts, silly skits, jokes, and lots of laughter. While Coffee House is mellow, the Variety Show is hilarious. All guests are encouraged to dive right in and be entertaining.

Campfire Sing-Along
What would camp be without songs around the campfire? Every night except Thursday ends with a sing-a-long around a blazing fire at our Pow Wow circle. The whole family can wind down and relax after their exciting day.
