Experience The #1 Family Camp in California!

If you want your family to experience the BEST that Montecito has to offer, then join us for one of our Summer Family Camp Weeks.  Renowned throughout the United States, Montecito Sequoia's Summer Family Camp guarantees fun for the whole family, and will create memories that will last a lifetime!

Parents, grandparents, young children to teens, we offer a range of fun activities for everyone.  Come find out why many of our families return year-after-year, and invite more friends and family to  join in the fun with them.  In fact, we have many large family celebrations and reunions during Family Camp, because it is perfect for all ages!

Our All-inclusive packages include meals, lodging, and full-array of activities for everyone in your family, with almost 6 hours of quality child-care for your children, ages 2 - 18, daily!  Children under the age of 2 are free!

Our Family Camp Weeks begin in June and run through August, consisting of ten 6-night sessions that you can choose from.  We offer a variety of Activities each day for all ages and skill levels, including our popular Children's Program.  These include land sports, water activities, and an arts & music program.  Each evening we provide a Special Event for the whole family to enjoy together.

There are optional group programs for children ages 2 - 18.  Each age group has its own animal mascot and is led by an experienced counselor.  Kids can have fun and make new friends, while parents and grandparents can enjoy the many adult activities on offer.  No one is required to join the group programs.  Remember, all activities are free choice!  Learn more about our Children's Program.

Family campers and staff share the same meals and social hours, creating a sense of community.  Home-cooked, buffet-style meals are wholesome, nutritious, and California fresh, with vegetarian options, a salad bar, and fresh fruit.  Planning a hike in the Sierras?  We'll have the fixins for a trail lunch ready for you in the morning.  We also offer a 24-hour complimentary snack bar, stocked with coffee, tea, juice, fresh fruit, cereal, bagels, and various other snacks, so you'll never go hungry at Montecito!

Montecito offers a variety of All-Inclusive Rates & Accommodations for your family's comfort and price point.  From Vintage Lodge Rooms & Suites, with private baths, to Value-priced Rustic Cabins with a shared bathhouse, to our New Forest Cabins and upscale Lakeview Suites, both with private baths & decks, you'll be sure to find the one that is right for your family.

Since our rates are "all-inclusive," they may appear expensive to some at first glance, but our guests tell us that they appreciate the excellent value they receive during Family Camp, especially since meals, child care, activities, and lots of fun are already included.  Plus we offer many discounted weeks, a referral discount, and an early payment discount, to help our families lower their overall Family Camp rates.

Days at Montecito Family Camp are warm and sunny; nights are cool, clear, and studded with stars.  Montecito Sequoia Lodge is surrounded by spectacular mountains, lush green meadows, and miles of trails and streams.  Life here is designed to be carefree. Here's what our Montecito Family Camp guest's have to say:

"Our family spent our fourth annual family camp at Montecito this past week. It was another absolutely wonderful family vacation - kids were kept active and busy all day by a tribe of young, fun, dynamic counselors (archery, riflery, arts and crafts, photography, swimming, horse riding, hiking, biking, etc.) while parents relax, join in activities or just do whatever. Everyone eats meals together (which are buffet-style and exceptionally good) which is nice too. Rooms and facilities vary (from cabins to main lodge) but are generally comfortable - please do not come to Montecito expecting the Ritz Carlton, but I guarantee you that the friendships and service you will experience at Montecito will be the best you will find anywhere. Congratulations to the staff at Montecito for truly putting the "family" into Family Camp. It is a unique place, and I hope everyone will experience it for themselves."

Denver Dale

"Can't say enough awesome things about Montecito. It's a true gem hidden in the Sierra Nevada mountains! This was my family's 6th consecutive year and it just keeps getting better! We drove from San Diego for 3 years...now we fly from Virginia. No matter where we live in the world, it's worth the effort to spend time at Montecito in the summer. Now 1 week is not enough...this year we spent 2 weeks and it flew by!! Love the awesome staff!!"

Susan Tyndall Murrell

"This was the best vacation we have ever had. Just got back from a great week. The location could not be more beautiful. The staff was universally great! Fun, helpful and clearly loved their jobs. Tons of activities for both the adults and kids. Gorgeous hikes in the Sequoia National Park, mountain biking, rock climbing, archery, art, yoga and more. I could not recommend this place highly enough. We already know we are going back next year!"

Tom Whitaker

"Extraordinary place. Our kids have grown up at Montecito and we parents love every minute of every day with friends and family. Great staff, great activities, amazing natural beauty."
