Changes to Montecito Sequoia Dining Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE CONSTANTLY ADAPTING OUR MEAL SERVICE TO ENHANCE YOUR SAFETY DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC.

PLEASE ALSO BE AWARE THAT SUPPLY CHAIN ISSUES, ALONG WITH POTENTIAL STAFFING SHORTAGES, CAN IMPACT OUR FOOD SERVICE VERSUS OUR TRADITIONAL FOOD & BEVERAGE SERVICE.

WE LOOK FORWARD TO RETURNING TO OUR FULL BUFFET SERVICE AS SOON AS THE PANDEMIC WANES AND SUPPLIES AND STAFFING RETURN TO NORMAL.

WE APPRECIATE YOUR PATIENCE AS WE NAVIGATE THROUGH THIS CHALLENGING TIME.

PLEASE GO TO OUR COVID-19 SAFETY PAGE FOR MORE INFORMATION ON OUR PANDEMIC PRECAUTIONS.

OUR ALL-INCLUSIVE RATES INCLUDE YOUR MEALS (served cafeteria-style during Covid-19), SNACKS, DESSERTS & SOFT DRINKS:

Included in your room rate for your 1st night's stay is Dinner the evening you arrive, and Breakfast the day you depart.  For each additional night that you stay with us, you will enjoy all three camp cafeteria-style meals - Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.  Meal times can vary, but follow the above scheduled times for each season.

Please Bus Your Tables After Eating

Please note that in keeping with our camp tradition, we ask that our guests self-bus their dining table/area after their meal, and return all dish & glassware to the bussing area in the main dining room.  We also ask our guests to use the hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes provided on their tables (see signage on tables), both before and after your meal, during the pandemic for your safety.  Please also use the bear-proof and recycle trash bins around our property to dispose of waste properly.  Thank you in advance for your cooperation!

Dinner (If you'll be arriving after dinnertime, call ahead and we'll save you a plate!)

Since most of our guests like to get an early start in the morning, our hot dinner service is offered in the early evening.  During the Fall, Spring & Winter Seasons, dinner starts at 5:30 p.m. and goes until 7:00 p.m.  If you will be arriving at Montecito after our dinner service ends, please be sure to call ahead (by 7:00 p.m. please) to our Front Desk @ 559-565-3388, press "0," and we'll make up a dinner plate for each member of your party to enjoy upon your arrival!

Pine Box Bar (Alcoholic Beverages & Specialty Drinks)

If you would like to enjoy an alcoholic beverage during your stay with us, we offer an assortment of wines and beers, including special local brews, and some mixed drinks at our Pine Box Bar for purchase.  We also allow guests to bring their own alcoholic beverages with them to enjoy, but we do charge a small corkage fee which includes use of our wine openers & wine glasses.  Please ask at the Front Desk when you arrive for more information on operating hours, fees, and pricing, for our Pine Box Bar services.

Special Dietary Needs or Food Allergies

Our culinary team does their very best to accommodate our guests' dietary needs and food allergies.  We do offer at least one hot vegetarian item during each meal, and offer salad and/or fruit, along with stocking soy milk and other dairy-free options.

If you have a food allergy, or eat a vegan or gluten-free diet, for example, our chefs will do their best to accommodate you.  Just stop in the kitchen when you arrive and let our kitchen staff know of your dietary concerns.

Those with food allergies should make sure to bring their epi-pens with them.   Parents, please assist any children with food allergies to make good choices.  Check with our kitchen staff if you aren't sure of ingredients in a particular dish, or if you have any questions.

If you have a less typical dietary need, not listed above, please contact our front desk or reservations office ahead of your visit (we recommend a minimum of at least one week before your arrival), so we can try to make adjustments as best we can.  Please realize that we may not carry or have access to certain items that you specifically need, especially during this time during the pandemic.  If this is the case, you are free to bring any special items with you, and you can store them in our public-access commercial fridge for your use.  This includes baby formula, or other dietary-specific items (eg. specialty gluten-free snacks, tofu or non-dairy ice cream, etc.) that we may not have on hand.
